New York International Wine Competition
Rosina's Winery was named Winery of the Year for Cabernet Franc in New York and our Cabernet Franc won Gold in the New York International Wine Competition (NYIWC) in 2022. NYIWC judged over 1300 wines from 23 countries and our Cabernet Franc and winery were best in show. We couldn't be more pleased with our placement.
New York International Wine Competition
Rosina's Winery Tocia Friulano won a Bronze medal in the New York International Wine Competition in 2022. With over 1300 wines entered in the competition from 23 countries, we couldn't be prouder of our placement. In 2016, we broke ground on a property in the Hudson Valley in New York with a dream of making great wines for family and friends. Today we have so many varietals we are proud of. We are so happy our Tocia was noticed.
San Francisco International Wine Competition
Rosina's Winery won big at the San Francisco International Wine Competition. We brought home three (3) medals.The San Francisco International Wine Competition is one of the largest and longest running wine competitions and has set the standard for professional wine judging since 1980. Our Cabernet Franc and Gamay Noir won silver medals and our newly released Sparkling Rosé won bronze. It was our first time entering the competition and we came home fully decorated. We couldn't be prouder.
Wine Enthusiast 92 Ranking
Rosina's Winery 2020 Barbera was labeled a "hidden gem" by Wine Enthusiast. They gave the first Hudson Valley region's Barbera a 92 ranking. It truly is a special wine. Our Barbera is ruby red and layered with aromas of strawberry, rhubarb, pine and tobacco. The different layers of fruit change and build throughout drinking. This wine will mature well with age but is beautiful, drinkable, and enjoyable right now. We couldn't be happier with this acknowledgement.
Wine Enthusiast 88 Ranking
Rosina's Winery 2020 Moscato was given an 88 ranking by Wine Enthusiast. Dry and floral-forward this white has essence of lily, orange blossom and lycee. Labeled our sleeper - Moscato has the misconception of being a sweet wine - because we awaken many loyalists after tasting.We are very pleased to have been recognized by Wine Enthusiast with this ranking.
